Most of you do not know this, (likely because I haven't talked about it,) but I study plants as hobby! I don't have much experience, as I've only started getting into botany recently, but I know a thing or two so far. For the most part, I've done some basic wikipedia and anecdotal research. I think I've read a book or two, as well. As a matter of fact, this morning, I began reading Botany for Dummies by Rene Fester Kratz. A book which (might I add, 8 pages in, started talking about plants getting freaky) seems to do a good job at covering the basics of getting into botany. Of course, I'll probably have to do some research into certain terms and such, but mostly, I understood everything well. Anyways, the purpose of this blog is to document my learnings about plants, nature, etc. I'm by no means an actual botanist, and I am certainly no expert. But I find plants interesting, and so here I'll talk about the things I learn and research.
